What's Coming in 2027
Our 2027 dates are out. Most of next year looks like the trips you already know, with one big addition: a full season in Hells Canyon. Here's what we're planning and how to get a spot before the summer fills up.
A Full Season in Hells Canyon
We got our permit for the Snake River through Hells Canyon in late June. That made us one of only nine commercial outfitters allowed to guide trips there, so 2026 was a short season with just a few trips. 2027 is our first full year.
If you haven't been, Hells Canyon is the deepest river gorge in North America. The rapids are Class IV big water, bigger than anything else we run. On our first trip this July, Wild Sheep and Waterspout lived up to their reputation, the bass and sturgeon fishing never slowed down, and fresh-caught bass tacos were the meal everyone talked about.
Here's the 2027 lineup:
- Snake River 3-Day 2-Night Whitewater Rafting Trip. All the big rapids in a shorter getaway.
- Snake River 5-Day 4-Night Whitewater Rafting Trip. The full canyon, with a possible night in a riverside lodge.
- Full-Day Class IV Rafting Trip with Jet Boat Ride. Raft the biggest rapids, eat lunch on the river, and ride a jet boat back upstream with our partners at Killgore Adventures. We're the only outfitter in the canyon that runs this trip.
- Snake River 4-Day 3-Night Smallmouth Bass & Sturgeon Fishing Trip. For anglers who want to spend the whole time with a rod in their hands.
- 4-Day 3-Night Cast & Blast Trip. Fishing and bird hunting in the same trip.
- Hells Canyon Trail 4-Day 3-Night Raft Supported Hiking & Camping Trip. Hike the canyon trail and camp along the river while the rafts carry your gear.
Hells Canyon trips are booked through our Idaho office at 208-717-2007.

The Trips You Already Know
Everything else is coming back for 2027.
Oregon
- Rogue River. Half-day and full-day trips out of Merlin, and the 3-day lodge trip through the Wild and Scenic canyon. The Rogue was one of the few rivers that ran well all of this dry summer, thanks to releases from Lost Creek Reservoir.
- Rogue River Trail. Hike or run the trail lodge to lodge while we carry your gear. Fire damage closed the lower section starting at Clay Hill this year, so check with us on the latest before you book.
- North Umpqua and Klamath. Day trips on two of our favorite Southern Oregon and Northern California rivers.
- Owyhee. A short spring trip that depends on snowmelt. This year's low snowpack cut the season short, so watch this one closely if you're hoping to go.
Idaho
- Main Salmon. Six days on the River of No Return, starting with a charter flight over the Frank Church Wilderness.
- Lower Salmon. Four days of warm water, big beaches, and inflatable kayaks. One of our best trips for families.
- Riggins day trips. Half-day, full-day, and 2-day trips on the Salmon right out of town.

Book Early
The multi-day trips are the first to fill, especially Rogue lodge trips and Main Salmon dates in July and August. If you already know when you want to go, booking this winter is the easiest way to get it.
