Main Salmon River White Water Rafting Trip

The historic Main Salmon River, or “River of No Return,” is commonly viewed as one of the best river trips in America for its white water, camping, lodges, hot springs and scenery. This float through the lower 48 states’ largest wilderness has become the premier adventure at Orange Torpedo Trips, hailed by all who do it as a “must-do” life experience. Days on the Main Salmon River are spent riding over big waves in numerous class II, III and IV rapids, where the guides lead you safely through the obstacles. Nights on the beach are spent with a glass of wine, a beautiful sunset and your closest friends. On lodge nights grab a hot shower before a delicious home-cooked meal and a soak in the hot tub before bed. Not a bad way to see American wilderness at its best.

On your 5- or 6-day vacation you can choose to paddle your own inflatable kayak or ride on the raft with a guide; either way you are going to get splashed and go home with stories to share. The base price for this trip is for an all camping trip with either 4 or 5 nights under the stars. On both the 5 and 6 day trip we have options to stay at a lodge on night 4 of the trip. If you’re on the 5 day float your last night is spent relaxing in the lodge. The standard price includes transportation from Boise to Salmon via Salmon air; a bus ride from Salmon to Corn creek, (the put-in) and a bus ride from the take-out back to Boise.
