Lewiston Idaho Accomodations

The trip begins and ends at the Red Lion Hotel in Lewiston, Idaho. You will need to make a reservation for the night before the trip and we advise staying at the hotel the night the trip concludes. Airlines

Plan to fly in and out of the Lewiston airport. Book your trip to arrive the afternoon before the trip starts and fly out the day after the trip concludes. There are flights into Lewiston from Seattle, Boise, and Salt Lake City on a variety of carriers. The Red Lion provides a shuttle to and from the Lewiston airport. You can also fly into Spokane Washington which is 2.5 hours away.

Packing information

The night before the trip starts your guides will hand out some equipment for you to use for the duration of the trip. The first item is a dry bag (18"x36") that is about the size of a medium duffle. This is where all of your personal items for the trip will go, so pack conservatively. These dry bags will be riding in your boat and when sealed correctly will not leak. However, if sealed incorrectly they may let water in. We strongly suggest that all items of significant value, such as expensive jewelry, be left at home. We will also supply a day bag to store items like cameras to make them easily accessible during the day. When packing, consider your susceptibility to sunburn and pack on-the-water clothing to match. Nylon pants are great on-the-water clothing and help prevent sunburn. For a detailed packing list please see our trip packing list page.
