Rogue River Rafting Travel Information
Accomodations
All Rogue River rafting trips leave from our shop, the Rogue River Center at 210 Merlin Rd, Merlin OR. so plan on meeting us there. We have a secure parking lot for you to leave your vehicle. For 3-day raft trips please plan on meeting us at 8:00 AM. Due to the early hour of the day we strongly recommend staying locally the night before your trip. Here are a few of the local accomodations in the Grants Pass area.
Bybee Historic Inn 877-292-3374 (tell them you are with OTT for a discount).
Flery Manor (Award Winning) 541-476-3591
Redwood Motel in Grants Pass 888-535-8824
Shiloh Inn Grants Pass Oregon 541-479-8391
La Quinta Inn Grants Pass Oregon 541-472-1808
Camping
Indian Mary Campground If you plan to camp while you're here, we recommend Indian Mary Park (541-474-5285). The nearest RV Park is Beaver Creek RV on Merlin Rd., although Indian Mary Park also provides full RV hook-ups. We have a parking lot that will accommodate RVs while you are on your trip.
Airlines
The closest commercial airport is in Medford, Oregon, 34 miles southeast of the Rogue River Center. There are three carriers currently flying into the Medford Airport: US Air operated by Mesa Air, Horizon Air, and United Express and Delta Connection offered by Sky West. In the Medford Airport there are four car rental companies (Budget, Avis, National, Enterprise, and Hertz). We can also arrange a shuttle from the airport to your hotel in Grants Pass, although for most groups it is more cost effective and easier to rent a car. Please note: Our trips return too late in the day for us to ensure you will make a flight out of Medford same day. We suggest making reservations for the next day after the trip concludes.
