About us – Rogue Journeys hiking company

Rogue Journeys was founded around the idea that experiences in the quiet and grandness of nature are experiences with the power to create lifelong memories and rejuvenate people in ways other experiences cannot. There is something healing about slowing down the pace of life to the speed of a step that affects people, relaxes them and clears their mind of other stresses. During and after our trips people often comment on how the trip gave time to reflect or recover in a way they have not been able to anywhere else. They share how a little sweat and plenty of beautiful scenery made for the vacation of a lifetime.

This idea of slowing down and enjoying the river canyon in a new way inspired us at Orange Torpedo Trips to put our hiking trips under a different name. Rogue Journeys springs from a pursuit to experience the same beauty but through a different perspective. We journey to see the canyon from every direction and better share its beauty with everyone.

We have been rafting the Rogue River Canyon for 40 years as Orange Torpedo Trips, and we love it today as much as we did then. With fascinating history, spectacular scenery and always great company, the Rogue River of Oregon will always be somewhere special for us, a place we love to share with groups of friends and families, whether it is on the trail or riding the waves.
