Grants Pass Oregon

If you are coming from the South or will already be in Grants Pass Oregon meeting us at our shop, the Rogue River Center at 210 Merlin Rd, Merlin OR. is your best plan. If you are going to meet us at the Rogue River Center we suggest these local accommodations.
Bybee Historic Inn 877-292-3374 (tell them you are with OTT for a discount). Not the closest, especially for the North Umpqua.

Roseburg Oregon

If you are coming from the North like Eugene, Portland, or Seattle it will be easier for you to meet us in Roseburg Oregon. If you want to meet us in Roseburg we meet customers in the parking lot of the Windmill Inn at 8:15 AM. If you book a North Umpqua rafting trip online and plan on meeting us in Roseburg, make sure you have talked to us on the phone to confirm. If meeting us in Roseburg please stay at the Windmill. On two day lodge trips we will be staying at the Steamboat Inn. Arrangements at the lodge will be made for you by our staff. If you would like to extend your stay there or are only planning a one day rafting trip with us you can arrange a stay there yourself. We highly recommend a night at the Steamboat if you are going to be in the area.

Campgrounds

The North Umpqua River corridor is strewn with incredible camp grounds. If you plan on adding a day of rafting on the North Umpqua River to a family road trip a night camping in the area will be a great experience. If you plan on camping in the area the night before your trip give us a call at 866-479-5061 and we will arrange to meet you at the trip take-out so you do not need to drive back into town. North Umpqua Weather

Southern Oregon is known for its great summer weather. Weather here is generally so nice that the local tourism board has adopted the slogan “its the climate” to describe what makes Southern Oregon so desirable. While rain does occasionally sneak in during the summer months it is rare and usually only stays for a short time. Averages are:
