River Rescue Class - Rogue River

We joined up with another industry leading raft company in Southern Oregon to participate in a river rescue class hosted at Lucas Lodge on the Lower Rogue River. The class was four days of training in rescue theory, skills, and scenerio practice. One of the highlights of the class was having Coast Guard rescue swimmers taking the class and having the indredible opportunity to practice helicopter hoists with the Coast Guard helicopter. Having never stood under a helicopter when it's hovering 30 feet above my head, it was amazing to experience the noise and power.
