Salmon River Big Water Trip
The Lower Salmon River is always known for big rolling waves and exciting rapids. In early July the Lower Salmon is known extra BIG WAVES, so we are going. Watch the short highlight video below. If it gets you excited you should sign up. We are running the 5-day, if you want to hit the REAL BIG stuff, or sign up for just the 4-day if you only want the big stuff. Either way, the waves will be big and rolling, the camping will be beautiful, and its generally going to be awesome, so you should be a part of it. If the Grand Canyon is on your "to do list" this will be similar in white water.
Do you need to be an expert - NO. On almost every rapid there is an easier way around and you can always hop on the raft. I would advise that the five day should be people with previous experience. That first day does have some bigger rapids with no "easy" way around.
