For over 40 years "Old Man River" has been roaming the rivers of the world as a "Professional River Guide". We have finally convinced the "Great One" to share his canyon lore with us mere river mortals. For the first installment of, "Legends of the Canyon" we learn about Almeda Bar.
The beautiful North Umpqua has more rapids per mile than any other river we do and scenery unlike anything else you will see in the state. Thrilling in a kayak and challenging in a raft this is a memorable day or two on the river.
